  1. Get 425 g kidney beans
  2. Get 425 g chick peas
  3. Take 800 g peeled Italian tomatoes
  4. Get 300 g minced beef
  5. Prepare 200 g sirloin steak
  6. Prepare 1 carrot
  7. Make ready 1 red bell pepper
  8. Make ready 1/2 onion
  9. Make ready 1 garlic
  10. Take 200 g beef broth
  11. Take Cumin

  13. Get Cayenne pepper
Steps to make Chilli Con Carne:
  1. Cut sirloin steak into 1 inch cubes and cry them to medium rare. Then take them out.
  2. Using the same pan put in the diced onion, carrot, red bell pepper and garlic in the same pot used to cook the steak for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced beef and cook till brown (around 5 minutes)
  4. Add cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to taste. Stir and mix for 5 minutes
  5. Add the peeled Italian tomatoes and let it simmer for 15 minutes
  6. Add both the kidney beans, chick peas, bay leaf and the beef broth for 15-30 minutes
  7. Serve with steak cubes, avocado, and sour cream
