  24. Take 3 slices Cucumber

A veggie burger is a burger patty that does not contain meat. These burgers may be made from ingredients like beans, especially soybeans and tofu, nuts, grains.

Steps to make Veg burger:
  1. Steam chopped potatoes, carrots, french beans and green peas in cooker with 4 to 5 whistle. You can also add other vegetables of your choice like corn and capsicum.
  2. After steam mash all vegetables.
  3. Add Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Chaat Masala, cumin powder, garam masala powder and Salt to the vegetables.
  4. Add fresh coriander leaves and use masher to mix everything.
  5. Add Cup of breadcrumbs to the vegetable mixture for absorbing some of the moisture. Mix well and let the mixture cool down.
  6. When the vegetable mixture has cooled down enough for handling, divide it into 6 equally sized portions. Gently roll each portion into a ball and then flatten it out to make a thick patty around 1/2 inch in thickness. You can use your bun as a reference for the diameter of your patty
  7. Heat 1/3 cup Oil in pan. I have shallow fried the patties, but you can also deep fry them. When the oil is hot place the patty in the pan and cook till is golden brown.
  8. Now to make the dressing for the burger, add Mayonnaise, Chilli Sauce, Tomato Ketchup to a small mixing bowl. You can also add some Salt if your Chilli Sauce doesn't already have it.
  9. Mix all the ingredients to make a smooth dressing.
  10. Cut the burger bun horizontally from the middle and then slightly toast the buns. Spread the dressing on the lower bun. Spread the dressing on the lower bun in a thick even layer.
  11. Then place the patty onto the lettuce.
  12. Last place a slice of tomato and cucumber and then add cheese slice and cover with a bun on the top. If you want you can apply some of the dressing on the top bun as well.
  13. Put a toothpick in the middle to hold everything together.
