Just grab your biggest heatproof mug (or use a bowl), and whisk together your Nutella, flour, milk and baking powder right in it.

  1. Cut the baguette into an inch thick slices at first. Spread a generous amount of nutella on each.
  2. Place a cashewnut or two on each. and arrange them all on a microwave grill. Make all in the same way in batches of two.
  3. Microwave on power high for about 2 minutes at first. If required, do it for 1 more min for a little more crispier bread. I have used a 1250 watt microwave for this.

That also helps cut down on microwave time since you're only heating what you need. Just grab your biggest heatproof mug (or use a bowl), and whisk together your Nutella, flour, milk and baking powder right in it. Use a fork, or a little whisk if you have one. (And tell me where you got that, please, because I need a little whisk in my life.) The picture in the magazine had only Mandarin orange slices on the Nutella Bruschetta, but I wanted to make it a bit more colorful. So, I added a raspberry to include the lovely crimson in the dish and oh well, you do know my love for coconut. So, I garnished it with a few roasted coconut flakes along with roasted almond slices.
