I always make one or two batches at a time and put half of them in. Combine dry ingredients and gently stir into banana mixture. The mix will look lumpy and may have the odd fleck of flour still visible, but don't be tempted to over-mix. Tip in the blueberries and give it just one more.

  1. Preheat oven to Fan Forced 180°. Line a 12 holed muffin tray with either cut baking paper squares or patty pans.
  2. Cream both sugars and soften butter.
  3. Sift both flours and cinnamon into wet ingredients. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Add mashed banana and blueberries. Stir with a wooden spoon to combine, be sure not to over mix.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes. Once finished let them rest in the tray for 5 minutes and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

The mix will look lumpy and may have the odd fleck of flour still visible, but don't be tempted to over-mix. Tip in the blueberries and give it just one more. Who doesn't love a good muffin?
