  1. Preheat the oven at 180°C.

  3. On a small pan heat Milk (not boiling) add the butter, sugar, salt, ube halaya and food coloring, mix until all the ingredients combine..
  4. On a bowl, mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until completely combined and formed as the dough

  7. Punch the dough to let the air escape and divide it into 24 equal parts.
  8. Roll the dough into small balls and use a rolling pin to flatten it and put the desired amount of ube halaya and cheese. Secure the filling by pinching the opposite ends and locking it and roll it again to form a ball, repeat to the remaining ingredients.
  9. Dip the bread into a bowl of bread crumbs and shake the excess. Put the bread in a parchment-lined baking pan and have at least half an inch spacing to allow the bread to puff.
  10. Cover the bread with a cloth and proof it again for 10-15 minutes.
  11. Put the bread in the preheated oven and bake it for 12-14 minutes.
  12. Serve hot.
