  6. Let it simmer stirring occasionally for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Add the second cup of water. Steam the broccoli and cauliflower.
  8. Add the broccoli and cauliflower after you steam 5 minutes.
  9. Stir in taste and adjust salt if need be.
  10. Cover and remove from heat. Let rest 15 minutes.

The taste is not anything like a ginger ale tasted more like Fresca. No one mentioned that the carbonation of this particular recipe will make a super mess.
